Trad Tunes
Tradtunes.com - totally tradigital!
Two young Scottish musicians are using the power of the internet to allow the world access to traditional, Celtic and roots music in digital format, most of which will be available for the very first time.
TradTunes.com offers unique access to over 10,000 music tracks online. Recordings from internationally know acts such as Capercaillie, Altan and Lunasa are available alongside new and exciting artists such as the Peatbog Faeries, the Finlay MacDonald Band and Mark Saul.
The idea is the brainchild of Uist Media Group (UMG), run by Alasdair MacCuish and John-Angus Smith. UMG’s Global Headquarters are at the Hillington Park Innovation Centre in Glasgow, a facility supported by Scottish Enterprise Renfrewshire, where they are able to access a complete range of business and technical development support.
